Betts is by far the largest laminate tube manufacturer in the UK with capacity for circa 650 million tubes p.a. and supplies a largely ‘blue-chip' customer base in the UK, Europe and Japan.  This requires the highest standards of GMP, quality and service which the unit prides itself on achieving. The site has been accredited to ISO 9001 for over 10 years.

Printing is carried out in-house on three Flexographic lines with a capacity for circa 770 million impressions p.a. with up to six colours plus hot foil and silk screen decoration capability.  The site retains the services of an in-house reprographics specialist using Dot Match Proofing for the most accurate replication of flexographic print in the Artwork Origination process.

The site injection moulds its own components across 6 lines with capacity for 650 million pieces p.a., with stack-turning and bi-injection capability included.  Components are also outsourced from strategic partners within Europe.

Tube making is carried out using SAESA technology.  The following diameters are offered using both Aluminium Barrier Laminate ("ABL") and Plastic Barrier Laminate ("PBL") substrates: 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm with a variety of cap and shoulder configurations, including oriented caps on 50mm Personal Care tubes.
