Established in 1994 and located in Surabaya, Indonesia's second largest city, Betts Indonesia is the leading supplier of laminate tubes in the country and a major exporter across South East Asia. It is the only Indonesian supplier of laminate tubes that offers PBL tubes for Personal Care applications.

The unit is conveniently located close to Surabaya port, supporting its role as an export base and has a wide range of customers from ‘blue-chip' multinationals down to small local manufacturers. It has been awarded Unilever Indonesia's preferred supplier and preferred business partner status every year from 2004 to 2009.

The unit performs its own injection moulding of components (530 million pieces p.a. capacity across 6 lines) and printing (circa 400 million impressions p.a. capacity). Two flexographic printing machines are used, offering up to seven colours plus cold-foil decoration capability.

Tube-making uses AISA technology (circa 420 million tubes p.a. capacity). Tube diameters offered are 22mm, 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm and 38mm in ABL substrates and 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm and 50mm in PBL substrates.

The unit has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2000 and initiated its own TPM programme in 2007.
